INDIGENOUS HERITAGE & COMMUNITY IMPACT DESIGN DESIGNED MULTI-PLATFORM CREATIVE ASSETS FOR NIKE'S N7 COLLECTION LAUNCH, A MEANINGFUL INITIATIVE INSPIRED BY NATIVE AMERICAN WISDOM OF THE SEVEN GENERATIONS: "IN EVERY DELIBERATION WE MUST CONSIDER THE IMPACT OF OUR DECISIONS ON THE SEVENTH GENERATION." THE N7 FUND SUPPORTS ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE SPORTS AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PROGRAMS TO KIDS IN NATIVE AMERICAN AND INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES, EMPOWERING THEM TO LEAD HEALTHIER, HAPPIER, AND MORE SUCCESSFUL LIVES. CAMPAIGN FOCUS: THIS SECOND ITERATION OF THE BEACON STORIES SHIFTED FOCUS TOWARD THE PRODUCT COLLECTION AND COMMUNITY IMPACT, FEATURING THE NIKE FREE CRATER TRAIL MOC N7, NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW N7, AND NIKE N7 APPAREL LINE. WORKING WITHIN ESTABLISHED N7 BRAND GUIDELINES, I CREATED COHESIVE VISUAL STORYTELLING ACROSS NIKE APP INTERFACES, EMAIL CAMPAIGNS, AND SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISING. CULTURAL STORYTELLING: THE CAMPAIGN HONORED INDIGENOUS BEACONS SAM MCCRACKEN, BROOKE SIMPSON, AND MADISON HAMMOND, WHO REPRESENT THE FORT PECK ASSINIBOINE AND SIOUX TRIBES, HALIWA-SAPONI TRIBE, AND NAVAJO AND SAN FELIPE PUEBLO COMMUNITIES. THE COLLECTION CELEBRATES ATHLETES, CREATORS, AND CULTURAL GAMECHANGERS OF THE SEVEN GENERATIONS, WITH PRODUCT TEXTURES PAYING HOMAGE TO INDIGENOUS DEFENSE OF MOTHER EARTH'S BIODIVERSITY THROUGH MATERIALS LIKE NATURAL FIBERS AND CORK. DESIGN APPROACH: CREATED CULTURALLY RESPECTFUL CREATIVE THAT REFLECTED THE HERITAGE AND VALUES OF THE FEATURED COMMUNITIES WHILE MAINTAINING NIKE'S BRAND STANDARDS. THE VISUAL DIRECTION SUPPORTED THE NARRATIVE OF HOW MCCRACKEN, SIMPSON, AND HAMMOND HONOR THEIR ANCESTRAL LANDS WHILE BREAKING NEW GROUND, IGNITING INSPIRATION, AND DEVELOPING LEGACIES FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.
